he whrote a lot of Oz books, to be precice: 14!

Dorothy Gale commes in a tornado and gets blown to the land of Oz, to get back to Kansas she has to get to the Emerald city and ask the wizard if he would take her back there, on the road she gets a lot of new friends and gets involved in problems with the wicked witch! the rest you must read or see!
